  • The Government of India has finalized the establishment of seven PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Parks across seven states.
  • The initiative, with an outlay of ₹4,445 crore till 2027–28, aims to boost India's position as a global textile manufacturing hub.

Goals and Benefits of PM MITRA Scheme

National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM)

  • Outlay: ₹1,480 crore (2020–21 to 2025–26)
