• Riyadh Metro uses a Grade of Automation 4 system, enabling complete driverless operations controlled from advanced central command centres. These centres manage real-time train movement, safety and punctuality. The metro forms a critical part of the King Abdulaziz Project for Riyadh Public Transport, aimed at reducing congestion and providing reliable, low-emission mobility.

With 85 stations across the network, the Riyadh Metro represents one of the region’s largest investments in urban mobility.
