• The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, entered a new leadership phase as Professor Pradeep Kumar Prajapati officially assumed charge as Director on 13 September 2025.
• With decades of expertise in Ayurvedic teaching, research, and administration, Prof. Prajapati’s appointment comes at a time when the government is strengthening traditional medicine under the AYUSH mission.
• His vision is expected to guide AIIA toward greater international collaboration and integrate evidence-based Ayurveda more effectively into mainstream healthcare.
