• The Ministry of Minority Affairs has launched a major skilling project under the PM VIKAS scheme in October 2025.
• अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय ने अक्टूबर 2025 में पीएम विकास योजना के तहत एक प्रमुख कौशल विकास परियोजना शुरू की है।
• The project is implemented in collaboration with IIT Palakkad, focusing on empowering minority communities in Kerala.
• यह परियोजना आईआईटी पलक्काड के सहयोग से लागू की जा रही है, जिसका उद्देश्य केरल के अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों को सशक्त बनाना है।
• The programme will train 400 youth in advanced technology fields such as chip design, embedded software, and drone R&D.
• यह कार्यक्रम 400 युवाओं को चिप डिज़ाइन, एंबेडेड सॉफ्टवेयर और ड्रोन अनुसंधान एवं विकास जैसे उन्नत तकनीकी क्षेत्रों में प्रशिक्षित करेगा।
• Out of these, 150 trainees will become Junior Chip Designers, 150 Embedded Software Engineers, and 100 Junior Engineers in Drone R&D.
• इनमें से 150 प्रशिक्षु जूनियर चिप डिज़ाइनर, 150 एंबेडेड सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर और 100 ड्रोन अनुसंधान एवं विकास में जूनियर इंजीनियर के रूप में प्रशिक्षित किए जाएंगे।
• The Ministry of Minority Affairs will fully fund the training, including stipends for all selected candidates.
• अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय इस प्रशिक्षण का पूरा खर्च उठाएगा, जिसमें सभी चयनित उम्मीदवारों के लिए वजीफा भी शामिल होगा।
• IIT Palakkad will provide placement and self-employment support to ensure long-term livelihood opportunities.
• आईआईटी पलक्काड प्रशिक्षुओं को रोजगार और स्वरोजगार सहायता प्रदान करेगा ताकि दीर्घकालिक आजीविका के अवसर सुनिश्चित किए जा सकें।
• The initiative aligns with the government’s goal of inclusive growth and reducing socio-economic disparities.
• यह पहल सरकार के समावेशी विकास और सामाजिक-आर्थिक असमानताओं को कम करने के लक्ष्य के अनुरूप है।
