• Odisha will host the Global Energy Leaders’ Summit (GELS) 2025 in Puri from December 5 to 7, bringing together national and international stakeholders to discuss India’s evolving energy sector. The summit aims to design strategies that meet the growing energy demand while ensuring sustainability and technological advancement.
• ओडिशा सरकार 5 से 7 दिसंबर तक पुरी में ग्लोबल एनर्जी लीडर्स’ समिट (GELS) 2025 आयोजित करेगी, जिसमें राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय हितधारक भारत के बदलते ऊर्जा परिदृश्य पर चर्चा करने के लिए शामिल होंगे। इस आयोजन का उद्देश्य बढ़ती ऊर्जा मांग को पूरा करने के लिए ऐसी रणनीतियाँ बनाना है जो स्थिरता और तकनीकी प्रगति के साथ संतुलित हों।
• The summit is based on the theme “Powering India: Sufficiency, Balance, Innovation,” highlighting three core priorities—ensuring reliable and adequate power supply, maintaining a balance between environmental protection and economic growth, and promoting innovation across the energy sector. These principles will guide the conference discussions.
• समिट की थीम “Powering India: Sufficiency, Balance, Innovation” है, जो तीन मुख्य प्राथमिकताओं पर केंद्रित है—पर्याप्त और विश्वसनीय बिजली आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करना, पर्यावरण संरक्षण और आर्थिक विकास के बीच संतुलन बनाना, और ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में नवाचार को बढ़ावा देना। सम्मेलन में होने वाली चर्चाएँ इन्हीं स्तंभों पर आधारित होंगी।
• Delegates will examine solutions to meet India’s rising energy demand, with sessions focusing on improving supply reliability and system resilience. Expert panels will also discuss ways to reduce environmental impact, strengthen energy security, and enhance operational efficiency through digitalisation and emerging technologies.
• प्रतिनिधि भारत की बढ़ती ऊर्जा आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के समाधान तलाशेंगे। सत्रों में आपूर्ति की विश्वसनीयता और सिस्टम की मजबूती में सुधार पर चर्चा होगी। विशेषज्ञ पैनल पर्यावरणीय प्रभाव कम करने, ऊर्जा सुरक्षा मजबूत करने और डिजिटल उपकरणों व उभरती तकनीकों के माध्यम से परिचालन क्षमता बढ़ाने के रास्तों पर भी विचार-विमर्श करेंगे।
