Why in News?
NCSC Chairman Shri Kishor Makwana will receive the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Jan Seva Puraskar 2026 in recognition of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes’ contribution to social justice and its efforts to safeguard the constitutional rights of Scheduled Castes. The award will be presented during the 16th Sansad Ratna Awards 2026 in Delhi.
