Why in News?
15 individuals were conferred the National Anubhav Awards 2026 by Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, in New Delhi for their contributions to nation-building and public administration.

- The Anubhav platform provides a forum for retiring and retired employees to share their experiences and suggestions from their service in government.
- It covers employees of: Central Government, 12 Public Sector Banks and Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).
- The 2026 awardees contributed to areas such as:
- Passport Seva Kendra
- Simplification and repeal of outdated rules
- Formulation of new rules
- Technological adoption in administration
- Accounting reforms
- The event also saw the release of the Handbook on Pension Mitra and Guidelines for the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign–5.
- The government highlighted reforms aimed at simplifying pension procedures, removing unnecessary requirements and strengthening family pension provisions.
