• India and Russia concluded their 23rd Annual Summit in New Delhi with a comprehensive roadmap to deepen cooperation in economic, defence, scientific and cultural sectors. Marking 25 years of their strategic partnership, both leaders highlighted the resilience of their ties amid global uncertainties.
• भारत और रूस ने नई दिल्ली में आयोजित 23वीं वार्षिक शिखर वार्ता के साथ आर्थिक, रक्षा, वैज्ञानिक और सांस्कृतिक क्षेत्रों में सहयोग को गहरा करने के लिए एक व्यापक रोडमैप जारी किया। रणनीतिक साझेदारी के 25 वर्ष पूरे होने के अवसर पर दोनों देशों के नेताओं ने वैश्विक अनिश्चितताओं के बीच द्विपक्षीय संबंधों की मजबूती को रेखांकित किया।
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed the target of USD 100 billion in bilateral trade by 2030. A new “Programme 2030” will steer cooperation across key economic sectors, while discussions continue on a possible Free Trade Agreement between India and the Eurasian Economic Union. Both sides also committed to enhancing payments through national currencies and exploring interoperability between digital financial platforms.
• प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने 2030 तक द्विपक्षीय व्यापार को 100 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंचाने के लक्ष्य को पुनः दोहराया। नया “प्रोग्राम 2030” प्रमुख आर्थिक क्षेत्रों में सहयोग को दिशा देगा, जबकि भारत और यूरेशियन इकोनॉमिक यूनियन के बीच मुक्त व्यापार समझौते पर बातचीत जारी रहेगी। दोनों देशों ने राष्ट्रीय मुद्राओं में भुगतान बढ़ाने और डिजिटल वित्तीय प्लेटफॉर्मों की परस्पर संगतता पर काम करने की प्रतिबद्धता भी जताई।
• Energy emerged as a cornerstone of the partnership, with the roadmap covering oil, gas, nuclear energy, petrochemicals and new energy technologies. Key connectivity projects—including the International North-South Transport Corridor, the Chennai–Vladivostok maritime route and the Northern Sea Route—received renewed focus. Collaboration in the Russian Far East and Arctic will expand into mining, agriculture, critical minerals and maritime logistics.
• ऊर्जा सहयोग इस साझेदारी की एक प्रमुख नींव के रूप में सामने आया, जिसमें तेल, गैस, परमाणु ऊर्जा, पेट्रोकेमिकल्स और नई ऊर्जा तकनीकों को शामिल किया गया। इंटरनेशनल नॉर्थ–साउथ ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉरिडोर, चेन्नई–व्लादिवोस्तोक समुद्री मार्ग और नॉर्दर्न सी रूट जैसे प्रमुख कनेक्टिविटी प्रोजेक्ट्स पर भी नया जोर दिया गया। रूसी सुदूर पूर्व और आर्कटिक क्षेत्रों में सहयोग को खनन, कृषि, क्रिटिकल मिनरल्स और समुद्री लॉजिस्टिक्स तक विस्तारित किया जाएगा।
• Both nations agreed to strengthen defence cooperation through co-production and joint development, aligning with India’s self-reliance goals. The plan includes expanding the manufacture of spare parts and components for Russian-origin equipment in India, with the possibility of exporting to friendly countries. The summit also advanced cooperation in nuclear energy, including support for the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant and progress toward identifying a second nuclear project site. Space agencies ISRO and Roscosmos will deepen collaboration in navigation, exploration and human spaceflight.
• दोनों देशों ने भारत की आत्मनिर्भरता पहल के अनुरूप रक्षा सहयोग को सह-उत्पादन और संयुक्त विकास के माध्यम से मजबूत करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की। योजना में भारत में रूसी मूल के उपकरणों के स्पेयर पार्ट्स और घटकों के उत्पादन का विस्तार शामिल है, जिन्हें मित्र देशों को निर्यात करने की भी संभावना है। शिखर वार्ता में परमाणु ऊर्जा सहयोग को भी आगे बढ़ाया गया, जिसमें कुडनकुलम परमाणु ऊर्जा परियोजना के लिए समर्थन और दूसरी परमाणु परियोजना साइट की दिशा में प्रगति शामिल है। ISRO और Roscosmos ने नेविगेशन, अंतरिक्ष अन्वेषण और मानव अंतरिक्ष उड़ान में सहयोग बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया।
