• Mizoram’s Tourism Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar and NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul agreed to jointly organise the “Mizoram Tourism Conclave” in New Delhi to strengthen strategic collaboration for tourism development.
• मिजोरम के पर्यटन मंत्री लालंघिंगलोवा ह्मार और नीति आयोग के सदस्य डॉ. वी.के. पॉल ने पर्यटन विकास के लिए रणनीतिक सहयोग को मजबूत करने हेतु “मिजोरम पर्यटन सम्मेलन” संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित करने पर सहमति जताई।
• The conclave will involve government departments, industrialists, educational institutions, and tourism service providers, ensuring inclusive participation through a joint task force.
• यह सम्मेलन सरकारी विभागों, उद्योगपतियों, शैक्षणिक संस्थानों और पर्यटन सेवा प्रदाताओं को शामिल करेगा, और एक संयुक्त टास्क फोर्स के माध्यम से समावेशी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करेगा।
• Tourist arrivals in Mizoram rose sharply after the opening of the new railway line to Sairang, with 1,27,458 visitors (including 2,208 foreigners) recorded between August and September 2025.
• सैरांग तक नई रेलवे लाइन शुरू होने के बाद मिजोरम में पर्यटकों की संख्या में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि हुई, अगस्त से सितंबर 2025 के बीच कुल 1,27,458 पर्यटक, जिनमें 2,208 विदेशी शामिल थे, दर्ज किए गए।
• The event will be held alongside the “Stakeholder Consultation on Ginger Produce for Mizoram” on November 24, 2025, featuring Chief Minister Lalduhoma and showcasing opportunities in tourism, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.
• यह कार्यक्रम “मिजोरम के अदरक उत्पादन पर हितधारक परामर्श” के साथ 24 नवंबर 2025 को आयोजित होगा, जिसमें मुख्यमंत्री लालदुहोमा शामिल होंगे और पर्यटन, कृषि एवं उद्यमिता के अवसरों को प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा।
• The conclave aims to promote sustainable and eco-friendly tourism through infrastructure development, skill training, and community-based growth, aligning with NITI Aayog’s vision for the Northeast.
