Joheirry Mola of the Dominican Republic was crowned Miss World 2026 at the grand finale of the 75th Miss World edition held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, on 5 September 2026. She succeeded Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri, who won the title in 2025.

- Joheirry Mola is a Dominican educator, journalist, community advocate, communicator and professional model.
- She holds a degree in Business Management and Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana.
- She is the Founder and President of Voices of Tomorrow, an initiative that promotes English education for children and young people from vulnerable communities.
- She teaches Literature and Social Studies in English.
- She has also worked as a correspondent for Univision New York’s Ventana a Quisqueya, highlighting Dominican culture and community issues.
- She is also a Goya Gives Ambassador.
Second Miss World Crown for Dominican Republic
- Joheirry Mola’s victory is the second Miss World title for the Dominican Republic.
- The country’s first Miss World was Mariasela Álvarez, who won the title in 1982.
- Thus, Mola’s victory came 44 years after the Dominican Republic’s first Miss World crown.
