• Karnataka has introduced the upgraded e-Swathu 2.0 platform to modernise property management in gram panchayats and significantly boost state revenue. Launched by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru, the initiative aims to regularise nearly 95 lakh rural properties and is expected to generate up to ₹2,000 crore through streamlined digital governance.

• The government anticipates at least ₹1,778 crore in additional revenue through digital regularisation, potentially reaching ₹2,000 crore with efficient execution. The platform centralises property records and brings thousands of previously unregistered rural households under defined tax norms introduced via amendments to the Panchayat Raj Act.
• सरकार का अनुमान है कि डिजिटल नियमितीकरण के माध्यम से कम से कम ₹1,778 करोड़ का अतिरिक्त राजस्व प्राप्त होगा, और प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन से यह राशि ₹2,000 करोड़ तक पहुंच सकती है। यह प्लेटफॉर्म संपत्ति दस्तावेजों का केंद्रीकरण करता है और पंचायत राज अधिनियम में किए गए संशोधनों के तहत पहले से अनलिस्टेड ग्रामीण घरों को कर ढांचे में शामिल करता है।
• With the introduction of the 2025 Tax, Rates and Fees Rules, tax assessment, collection and layout approval processes have been made faster and more transparent. Residents can now access digital e-khata documents—Forms 11A and 11B—directly through the portal. A dedicated helpline has been set up to support citizens as they transition to the new system.
• 2025 टैक्स, रेट्स और फीस नियमों के लागू होने के साथ ही कर निर्धारण, वसूली और लेआउट अनुमोदन की प्रक्रियाओं को तेज और पारदर्शी बनाया गया है। अब नागरिक पोर्टल के माध्यम से डिजिटल ई-खाता दस्तावेज—फॉर्म 11A और 11B—आसानी से प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। नए सिस्टम के अनुकूलन में मदद करने के लिए एक समर्पित हेल्पलाइन भी शुरू की गई है।
• Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar highlighted that 11B accounts will be issued within 15 days of application, eliminating the need for residents to visit panchayat offices. The certificates will be accessible online and via Bapuji Centres, improving decentralised service delivery and making rural governance more citizen-friendly.
• उपमुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार ने बताया कि 11B खातों को आवेदन के 15 दिनों के भीतर जारी किया जाएगा, जिससे ग्रामीणों को पंचायत कार्यालयों के चक्कर नहीं लगाने पड़ेंगे। प्रमाणपत्र ऑनलाइन और बापूजी केंद्रों के माध्यम से उपलब्ध होंगे, जिससे विकेंद्रीकृत सेवाओं की डिलीवरी मजबूत होगी और ग्रामीण शासन अधिक सुविधाजनक बनेगा।
