Why In News?
- IndiaAI and the Ministry of AYUSH signed an MoU aimed at bringing Artificial Intelligence (AI) into India's traditional healthcare system.
About
- Eligible AYUSH health research datasets, AI models and toolkits will get integrated into AIKosh, India's sovereign AI repository, under this partnership.
- It also opens up AI-based research and innovation in traditional medicine, with researchers, startups, and academic institutions able to build responsible AI solutions on top of it.
- Through the MoU, eligible AYUSH stakeholders get access to IndiaAI Compute infrastructure for their research and healthcare applications.
- The MoU runs for two years, with automatic renewal possible by mutual agreement.
