• India and Israel have strengthened their longstanding agricultural partnership through a new agreement focused on manufacturing and commercialising pheromone-based crop protection technologies. The initiative launches a joint venture aimed at taking Indian-developed semiochemical innovations to global markets, marking a new phase in bilateral agri-tech cooperation.
• भारत और इज़राइल ने फेरोमोन-आधारित फसल सुरक्षा तकनीकों के विनिर्माण और व्यावसायीकरण पर केंद्रित नए समझौते के माध्यम से अपनी दीर्घकालिक कृषि साझेदारी को और मजबूत किया है। इस पहल के तहत एक संयुक्त उद्यम शुरू किया गया है, जिसका उद्देश्य भारत में विकसित सेमीकेमिकल नवाचारों को वैश्विक बाज़ारों तक पहुंचाना है। यह दोनों देशों के बीच कृषि-तकनीक सहयोग का एक नया चरण है।
• The agreement was unveiled during the valedictory session of the First International Science & Technology Clusters Conference held in New Delhi. India’s ATGC Biotech Pvt. Ltd. and Israel’s Luxembourg Industries Ltd. concluded licensing exchanges to set up Semiophore Ltd., a 50–50 joint venture. This marks the first time Indian semiochemical technology will be manufactured in Israel.
• यह समझौता नई दिल्ली में आयोजित प्रथम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी क्लस्टर्स सम्मेलन के समापन सत्र में घोषित किया गया। भारत की एटीजीसी बायोटेक प्रा. लि. और इज़राइल की लक्ज़मबर्ग इंडस्ट्रीज़ लि. ने लाइसेंसिंग एक्सचेंज समझौते को अंतिम रूप देकर 50–50 हिस्सेदारी वाला संयुक्त उद्यम सेमीओफोर लि. स्थापित किया। यह पहली बार है जब भारतीय सेमीकेमिकल तकनीक का उत्पादन इज़राइल में किया जाएगा।
• The ceremony saw participation from senior leaders of both countries, including India’s Principal Scientific Adviser Ajay Kumar Sood and Israel’s Deputy Chief of Mission Fares Saeb. Officials highlighted that the collaboration advances cooperation in food security, climate-resilient farming and technologically driven agricultural solutions. The agreement was hailed as a milestone showcasing the global relevance of Indo–Israeli innovation.
• समारोह में दोनों देशों के वरिष्ठ प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया, जिनमें भारत के प्रधान वैज्ञानिक सलाहकार अजय कुमार सूद और इज़राइल के डिप्टी चीफ ऑफ मिशन फ़ारेस साएब शामिल थे। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि यह सहयोग खाद्य सुरक्षा, जलवायु-सहिष्णु कृषि और तकनीक-आधारित समाधानों में द्विपक्षीय प्रयासों को आगे बढ़ाता है। इस समझौते को इंडो–इज़राइली नवाचार की वैश्विक प्रासंगिकता दर्शाने वाला एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर बताया गया।
• Semiophore Ltd. will take 18 Indian-developed pheromone technologies to markets including Israel, Brazil and the United States. These technologies include ultra-low-dose dispensers, mating disruption systems and controlled-release platforms. The solutions are designed to reduce insecticide usage by more than 80 per cent, offering a sustainable and environmentally safer alternative to conventional chemical pesticides.
• सेमीओफोर लि. भारत में विकसित 18 फेरोमोन तकनीकों को इज़राइल, ब्राज़ील और संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका जैसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाज़ारों में ले जाएगी। इन तकनीकों में अल्ट्रा-लो-डोज़ डिस्पेंसर, मेटिंग डिसरप्शन सिस्टम और कंट्रोल्ड-रिलीज़ प्लेटफ़ॉर्म शामिल हैं। ये समाधान कीटनाशक उपयोग को 80 प्रतिशत से अधिक कम करने के लिए बनाए गए हैं, जो पारंपरिक रासायनिक कीटनाशकों की तुलना में अधिक टिकाऊ और पर्यावरण-अनुकूल विकल्प प्रदान करते हैं।
