• India and Vietnam held the 15th Defence Policy Dialogue (DPD) in Hanoi, co-chaired by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Senior Lt Gen Hoang Xuan Chien, focusing on strengthening bilateral defence ties.

• A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed to establish a framework for mutual submarine search and rescue support, enhancing naval coordination and maritime safety.

• A Letter of Intent (LoI) was also signed to promote defence industry collaboration, including joint research, technology transfer, and joint ventures in shipbuilding and advanced manufacturing.

• Both sides agreed to expand cooperation in AI, shipyard modernisation, hydrography, and cyber security, along with real-time maritime domain awareness initiatives.
• दोनों पक्षों ने कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI), शिपयार्ड आधुनिकीकरण, हाइड्रोग्राफी और साइबर सुरक्षा में सहयोग बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ रीयल-टाइम समुद्री डोमेन जागरूकता पर काम करने पर सहमति जताई।
