• Ahead of the dialogue, both sides signed the Terms of Reference, formally establishing the Joint Working Group. The mechanism is designed to review ongoing initiatives and define future priority areas, offering an institutional framework for sustained defence cooperation.
• वार्ता से पहले दोनों देशों ने टर्म्स ऑफ़ रेफ़रेंस पर हस्ताक्षर कर संयुक्त कार्य समूह की औपचारिक स्थापना की। यह तंत्र मौजूदा पहलों की समीक्षा करने और भविष्य की प्राथमिकताओं को तय करने के लिए बनाया गया है, जिससे रक्षा सहयोग के लिए एक संस्थागत ढांचा तैयार होगा।
• The discussions covered expanding military-to-military exchanges, enhancing joint training, and improving coordination on maritime security, especially for safe sea lanes and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR). Capacity-building and defence-industry collaboration were also highlighted as key focus areas.
• चर्चाओं में सैन्य-से-सैन्य आदान-प्रदान बढ़ाने, संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण को सुदृढ़ करने और समुद्री सुरक्षा पर समन्वय बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया गया, विशेषकर सुरक्षित समुद्री मार्गों और मानवीय सहायता व आपदा राहत (HADR) के संदर्भ में। क्षमता-निर्माण और रक्षा उद्योग सहयोग को भी प्राथमिक क्षेत्रों के रूप में रेखांकित किया गया।
• Both delegations reaffirmed their commitment to a peaceful, stable and rules-based Indo-Pacific. The meeting reflects growing momentum in India–Brunei defence relations, with both nations agreeing to prepare a structured roadmap for deeper engagement under the JWG framework.
• दोनों पक्षों ने शांतिपूर्ण, स्थिर और नियम-आधारित इंडो-पैसिफिक के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई। यह बैठक भारत-ब्रुनेई रक्षा संबंधों की बढ़ती गति को दर्शाती है, जिसमें दोनों देशों ने JWG ढांचे के तहत गहन सहयोग के लिए एक संरचित रोडमैप तैयार करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की।
