Renowned Gujarati music composer, arranger and singer Gaurang Vyas passed away in Ahmedabad at the age of 87. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the veteran musician, remembering his contribution to Gujarati music and cinema.
About Gaurang Vyas
- Gaurang Vyas was a prominent figure in Gujarati film, folk and light music.
- He was the son of renowned Gujarati music composer Avinash Vyas and continued his father’s musical legacy.
- He began his career as an assistant to his father in the film Jesal Toral.
- Later, he worked as an independent music director for Lakho Phulani.
- During his career, he composed music for more than 100 films.
