• It blends tradition with technology, offering education, cultural preservation, and economic opportunities in a single space.
• Envisioned as the world’s first Digital University dedicated to tribal culture, Adi Sanskriti integrates three core components:
• Adi Vishwavidyalaya (Digital Tribal Art Academy): Offering 45 global-access courses in tribal dance, music, painting, crafts, and folklore.
• Adi Sampada (Socio-Cultural Repository): Hosting over 5,000 curated documents covering tribal dance, painting, textiles, artefacts, and livelihoods.
• Adi Haat (Online Marketplace): Linked with TRIFED, providing artisans with direct consumer access to boost sustainable incomes.
• The platform has been developed in collaboration with 15 State Tribal Research Institutes (TRIs), ensuring authenticity and representation of diverse tribal traditions from across India.
• Looking ahead, the Ministry plans to expand Adi Sanskriti into a full-fledged Tribal Digital University, offering certifications, advanced research opportunities, and an enriched marketplace.
• The initiative aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, empowering tribal communities as equal participants in India’s digital and economic growth.
• By digitising and globalising tribal heritage, Adi Sanskriti safeguards traditions while creating sustainable livelihoods, marking a milestone in cultural preservation and inclusive development.
