Why in News?
The Fourth Edition of the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course started at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on 3 August 2026. Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) General N.S. Raja Subramani gave the speech at the first meeting.
About the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course
- The Tri-Services Future Warfare Course is organized by the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS).
- It is a four-week learning program that includes officers from the three Services as well as people from the government, business, schools and other important groups.
- During the program people talk about topics like politics, new technology, thinking warfare, online attacks, different types of fighting, creating situations and using tech in war.
