Why in News?

The Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) has arrived in India for Exercise Veer Guardian 2026, a bilateral air-combat exercise being conducted at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from 9 to 22 September 2026.

Two Japanese C-2 transport aircraft carrying the Japanese contingent landed at Air Force Station Jodhpur on 5 September.
