About India Cine Hub Portal:

Purpose and Vision:
The portal acts as a single-window facilitation and clearance system to:
- Ease the process of filmmaking permissions
- Offer incentives for production
- Support resource mapping across India
- Promote India as a film-friendly ecosystem for both foreign and domestic filmmakers
Key Features of the Portal:
- GIS-based location mapping for scouting diverse filming sites
- Common application form for all approvals, enhancing ease of doing business
- Facilitates film shootings through a centralized digital interface
Integration Status (as of August 2025):
- Fully Integrated: 7 States and 2 Union Territories
- Onboarded: 21 States and 6 Union Territories
Expansion of Services:
- Initially focused on foreign filmmakers, the services of the India Cine Hub Portal have now been extended to Indian filmmakers as well, enabling domestic film productions to benefit from the platform’s streamlined processes.
