What is Anna-Chakra?
- A digital route optimization & logistics tool for PDS grain transport.
- Uses data-driven algorithms to reduce transit costs and improve delivery.
- Helps prevent wastage, cut emissions, and enable real-time logistics decisions.
Implementation Status (as of August 2025):
- Implemented in 30 States/UTs including Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Odisha, etc.
- Pending: Only Manipur yet to implement.

- Annual savings: ~₹250 crore
- Environmental benefit: Reduced carbon emissions through optimized fuel use
