Minerals: Which mineral is the main source of aluminium?

Bauxite is the primary ore of aluminium, containing high concentrations of aluminium hydroxide minerals such as gibbsite, boehmite, and diaspore. It is formed through the weathering of aluminium-rich rocks in tropical and subtropical climates. Bauxite deposits are found worldwide, with major producers including Australia, Guinea, Brazil, and Jamaica.
