2. English: 4 Topics That Carry the Section
1. Error Detection and Sentence Correction
The biggest part of the English paper. **Revised:** Subject verb agreement, tenses, prepositions, articles and proper use of adjectives and adverbs. Most errors are in the parts the bit candidates skim over, so read the whole sentence before deciding.

Most predictable scoring area in the GK paper. Review the Basic Rights and Duties, Directive Principles, Parliament, powers of the President and Prime Minister, the judiciary and important constitutional amendments. Here article numbers are important so learn the ones which are often asked.

Cover rivers and their tributaries, mountain ranges and passes, soil and vegetation types, climate and monsoon patterns, and major national parks. The questions are factual and map based. So it is safe and fast scoring area.

Freedom struggle after 1857: 1857 revolt, formation of congress, partition of Bengal, Gandhian movements, The Revolutionary movement, and events leading to independence. Fix the sequence of events, since chronology questions are common.

NCERT level is enough. Go over the basic rule of motion, electricity, acid and bases, the periodic table, the human body, diet and diseases caused by not getting enough of certain nutrients, and the laws of motion. Biology is usually the fastest way to make money.
9. Military and Defence
An area made for people who want to be CDS that is often ignored. Change the current service chiefs, the ranks and symbols of the three services, the operational commands, the recent joint military exercises, the indigenous missiles and aircraft, the DRDO projects, and the recent joint military exercises.
